# Blueprints When a player has mined enough Steel Chips (off-chain asset) they may exchange them for a Blueprint. Along with payment of COSM, a Blueprint can be used to mint a new Ship. One Blueprint can be exchanged for one Ship only. A Blueprint does not reveal the type of Ship that will be built or its specific characteristics.
