# COSG Utility

Cosmic Gold is a governance token that allows its holders/users to have a say in the development of the project. Governance voting will begin by Q2 2025. COSG also has several other uses for its holders:

* Buying NFTs in the marketplace
* Staking to earn COSG
* COSG holder tiers
* Play-to-earn rewards
* In-game purchases (incl. tournament entry fees)
* Funding the creator economy and development of the ecosystem
